Well, we made it up there and back! oldest son and I spent something like 18 hours in the greater Las Vegas metropolitan area, and didn't enter even ONE place of business! We went to friend's house, guy came and got engine and paid for it. We hung out at friend's house with his wife's sister (said wife is adopted, so I'm not sure of their real relationship) and her 2 little boys and friend's 2 kids. Later friend got home, his wife got home, his sister and her 2 kids came over, and we had fun sitting around talking and eating lasagna and listening to pink floyd real loud....
And we hauled the truck to gramma's house for the younger kid, for his (hopefully) surprise present.
