The weather turned out to be nice yesterday...we went to the car show, there were a dozen or so cars from here that went. It was fun , the show there has quite a mixture of cars, with a lot of sporty foreign cars and restored American cars of all years, as well as street rods, hot rods, etc.

This is the view from the chair behind my 55.

But it was a long day, and we wound up hanging around in town for about 3 hours after eating dinner waiting for wife and twins to get back from Phx. I was about ready to take a nap at the bookstore we were killing time at.

Wife decided that since sometimes the kids complain about the food she cooks for dinner, that we could all take turns making dinner! and let each kid (and both of us) claim a night, leaving a couple nights open each week for eating out. So they kids got to put what they needed for dinner their night on the shopping list, and she's at the grocery store now...

We went to the burial Friday, the fedex truck showed up with the replacement iPod (it died after less than a week) and the mortgage check, so I went to school, got Steve, and we went to the cemetary and watched the goings-on. Then went to the church and visited with the family members that we know...it was his friend's grandfather who died. We knew him to say hi to, and Steve had spent time visiting when friend's grandparents were watching friend.
