april 18 - 9pm

not much going on today...I goofed off all morning, and part of the afternoon, and then finally got around to working on the car with Steving. (I called him that when he was little, the excuse being that he was a verb--an action word--running around all the time) We finished sanding the body again and put the 3rd coat of primer on. It's looking pretty straight. The front fenders and stuff get worked on again tomorrow.

Wife got the title to her new horse trailer in the mail today, but when she went to register it they said she needs the bill of sale too...then she went to pick up a package at the post office and it wasn't there yet, it was still on the carrier's truck. the new mail carrier is a bit slow, the mail gets here two hours later than it used to. So wife had a wonderfully frustrating afternoon errand session.

Kevin made us some soup (from a can, I suspect) and grilled cheese sandwiches for diner. hmmmm good.

I'm reading a book that Steve picked up at the swap meet (free), it's an ex-UofA library book about the Beatles, written in 1968, so they were still a going concern at the time. Interesting story, I was just a real little kid when they hit fame and fortune in the early 60s, but I do remember the excitement of the new records coming out in the later 60s, and listening to them...mostly just the last two, Abbey Road and Let it Be. our family was a bunch of wannabe hippies...

cocteau twins are playing "pur" on winamp right now.

there's some wierd music on my computer!
