it was nice and clear skies this morning, but then clouded up and we got some rain and thunder and lightning, just like in July most years. Kind of slows down building construction! I guess we won't get trusses on for a few days. This
is where we sit now.
School is winding down, little Steving has half days thru Thursday. He did help some with construction today between drizzles...but we need the full crew to get the next part done.
he's playing pinball right now...one of these days I'll have to get the chimes working on it, but then it won't be so quiet. the machine is a Royal Flush that I've had since college, that's well over 20 years.
Yesterday the county hauled the paving machine down the big street that runs by here, apparently to get ready to pave the street they've been working on since the beginning of March (?) that was supposed to be done a month ago. Maybe it'll get done soon?
