another day, another dollar...spent. Actually only $500 today, bought most of the siding for the new garage.

mom visited today, she brought the quilts she made for little Gary and Kevin, it's their birthday soon and she'll be gone then so she brought them early. And a pan of brownies! which we all devoured. But they must have been healthy, she always cooks low- and no-fat food.
We all did a little bit of cleaning this morning, got the new garage cleaned up (wood and shingle and bent nail scraps), wife cleaned up in the house a bit, although it's still the usual cluttered mess.
I've been reading those Tony Hillerman books I borrowed from my mom, I'm on the 4th one, Talking God. Interesting, and they pass by quickly.
Little boys get to start summer school tomorrow, PE, what fun! Wife signed them up for it, so they could get it out of the way and free up some hours for more interesting classes...little Steving did the same thing, now he has some free time his senior year that he'll have to figure out something to do in. Getting a job would be nice.
