it's warm again, the temp sign on the way into town to get the kiddos from school said 100, and on the way home it said 99.
finally got the drywall hung on the walls this morning, now it's time to start taping, what fun. Somewhere around here I have a 5 gallon paint bucket....
I signed up online for wireless internet Monday, but haven't heard from them yet about when they'll install it. hopefully it's not gonna take too long--that's the problem with services that are good, they get too many customers too fast and then turn bad. We'll see what happens. Yesterday at the thrift store I found a wireless LAN/DSL router, which should work with the service we're getting, and it's something I wanted anyways to play with the laptops. I paid $2 for it, and whaddaya know, it works fine. I had a laptop (with a wireless card in it) connected to this "real" computer, playing an mp3 that's on this hard drive on the laptop. fun. So when we get the internet service we should be able to access it sitting on the couch.
Not much exciting going on in life, it's a lazy summer mostly. Wife goes to work, kiddos go to summer school, older kiddo sits around and plays video games or helps me work on the new garage...how boring. If only we had real problems like the folks who have other diarys here!
