6/27 - 930pm
it was a tad warm today, and the air had a smokey smell, in the afternoon I couldn't even see the mountains to the south, and could barely see the ones to the east.
spent some time playing with a garage door or two today, the first one (small) is in and working and even has it's opener working nicely.
The second door (wide) was going along fine untill we took the top panel out of the box and it's all bent up. The top panel (and another panel) on the other wide door are also bent. I guess I get to do some phone work tomorrow and see what can be done about it...the stuff came from Tempe apparently from the shipping labels, so maybe we'll get to drive up there with a trailer, as it looks like any 18 foot long box is going to get mangled by the home despot forklift drivers.
wife gets to head off to the airport at 3something in the morning to catch a 6something flight to texas for a meeting, then come home the next day. glad it's not me. she sure was cute walking around in her nightshirt after dinner...
oops, can I say that?
