9/6 - 9pm

I should be tired, I suppose.

Allergies weren't so bad today, I used less than a half a box of kleenex.

Yesterday we had an adventure in plumbing. My brain wasn't working, so I wound up replacing the aging upstairs water heater, thinking it was leaking, when it was really a sewer backup. The non-draining shower just didn't click when there was water on the bathroom floor, coming from the drain pan under the w/h. Oh well, at least the new one is quiet, and big enough that we don't have to worry so much about who gets in the shower first. And it should even be able to fill the bathtub, which wife has been wanting for a long time.

Today after wife got home we both walked to the end of the road and got the mail. It's a mile each way. She said she'd do it again tomorrow...hmmmm...can't be a bad thing for either of us to get more excersize.

Steving and I made a BC Wheel for him to play with, using the front wheel from a BMX type bike. It's just two pieces of angled steel bolted to the axle, and the rider stands on the angles and rolls merrily along. and falls over.

this is what he looks like just before gravity takes over. Notice the helmet.
