6/2 - 10pm

We went to tombstone today! what fun, there was a wierd kind of a hot rod show with live bands in the bar, etc. We left around dinner time, wife had to go feed the ponies, was the excuse. It's an interesting place to watch people, especially when there are a bunch of rockabilly car club wannabe hoodlums, and their Bettys, mingling with the tourists and local actors.

We got the cooler installed in the shop window, built a bracket from angle iron to hold it onto the outside of the wall. And had to buy pretty much all new guts for the cooler, it didn't have a blower motor, that was $50, and the spider and float valve and pads were bad, but the pump actually worked after I took it apart and freed it up. This cooler was brand new a few years ago, never installed, I guess our storage technique need work!

The kids underwater robot thingy has been working pretty well up until today. It has a little video camera, the $20 kind, connected to a TV monitor so they can see where they're going. But they are having trouble with the waterproof housing for it (and interesting assortment of pvc and whatnot) and it leaks sometimes and has blown out two cameras so far. Two more are on order. They're leaving for the competition Thursday afternoon. and still have some other things to fix. Should be interesting!
