Little Steving is home, we got to goof off some today, went into town and bought some beer (to give to the guy at the machine shop), dropped off two pairs of almost 50 year old cylinder heads to be cleaned and checked for cracks. The heads will go on ebay, maybe they'll fetch a grand? maybe not? maybe more? who knows! ebay is wonderful.

The pellets are burning away....

The free not too old laser printer we let Steving take to college ran out of toner. Rather than buy the $70 new cartridge in town, or the $30 ones on ebay, I bought the $5 refill on ebay. We learned how to refill toner, a fun task! the way you do it is find the oasis imaging web page, download the instructions, and follow them, but be sure you know more about the subject than the average Joe, or you might get confused. We figured it out, all went well, the printer printed it's first new page like a charm. Of course the other printer (that's almost 15 years old) spit out some new error codes while printing out the refilling instructions! so maybe I'll have to fix that one...I have a spare laserjet 4 for parts, someone gave it to me.

little Gary is downloading a 2gb program for use designing robots, the software company lets teams have the software for a year for the competition. Get them hooked on autocad in school, then they'll pay $$$ for it when they get a real job. But it's good stuff, definitely worth the money if you want to be a successful engineer.

I need to freecycle more stuff, but I guess I need to figure out what others might need, that I have....
